Tips to get the most out of your bundle

First things first

Bookmark this login page so you can quickly return to this bundle of resources.

Your next steps

To stay on track in a fun way, print out The Prepping Pathway gameboard and post it somewhere in your house where you'll see it every day. Mark each box as you complete the pathway.

Finally, your resource binder

You'll be printing out a lot of resources from this bundle and probably have plenty more saved on your computer. Put them all in one place by creating your own Survival Resource Binder. You'll find instructions in the Printables section.

Your bundle purchase includes this full-length, four-video course. To get the most from the course, download the 67-page workbook full of worksheets, checklists, and more. Click HERE to download.

When you are highly focused and motivated, you can actually get prepared rather quickly. This class will help you do just that and get prepared for an emergency that lasts at least 3 weeks.

Be sure to download the weekly planners that are part of this course. These planners are coordinated with the lessons and worksheets in the workbook. Some of these To Do items you may have already finished, so check them as "Finished", and feel good that you've already made progress!

Even though the planner is divided into 7 days, you don't have to stick with that schedule. Skim through the planner and see what you can accomplish in the next hour or by the end of the day, and tackle those tasks first. The Week 1 planner mentions my Junk Drawer Challenge, which you can watch here

You're on track to create a safe and prepared base to get through an emergency lasting three weeks. Assume you will be on your own during that time without any outside help available. You'll need a supply of water if the emergency involves a boil notice, flooding, or other natural disasters, enough food to provide you and your loved ones with at least 3 weeks' worth of meals, and non-edibles, such as soap and toiletries.

This 34-minute lesson focuses on those 3 areas of preparedness with tips for stocking up fast on a budget.

In a power outage, with a boil notice, or a storm-damaged home, you may need to be creative if you plan on remaining in place for the duration of an emergency. This video walks you through practical steps to prepare your home and how to know when it's time to get to a safer location.

You may never have had a need to evacuate your home or another safe place, and if so, you're fortunate! It's disconcerting to suddenly discover that your home is no longer the safe refuge you assumed it would be. In this video lesson, you'll learn how to put an evacuation plan in place.

Step Two: Transform Your Family into a Prepping Team!

In this video lesson, Lisa uses the analogy of a baseball team to explain how a family, or really any group of people, can come together and work toward a common goal.

In the structure of a team, one member must take on the role of Manager, and Lisa explains exactly what that entails, both the tasks and the responsibilities.

A Coach is also needed, and this person will play a different role and will often act as the conduit between the Manager and the Players.

In most family scenarios, the Players will be the kids, and Lisa provides instructions on how to determine what the Players need, how to communicate with them, and how to adapt family activities to different age groups.

In this second video lesson, you'll learn specific activities to introduce your family and close friends to important prepping and survival concepts in a way that is fun and motivating.

You know you want your home and family to be prepared for anything, and at the same time, you want to draw your family on board with prepping/survival activities that aren't radical or fear-based.

A threat analysis will help you identify just one or two specific everyday emergencies that are most likely in your area, and this will help you decide which activities, tasks, and projects will move your family forward to being better prepared. This takes the guessing out of what you should do and will save you time and money that might be wasted on preparing for unlikely events.

Step Three: Expand your prepping community

What if your own survival group was right in front of your eyes? What if you could start it this weekend? Consider this: every survival group will live or die based on RELATIONSHIPS.

Time, common interests, and shared experiences combine to form relationships. If you don’t have those 3 going on with numerous individuals and families, you’ll never have a group of trustworthy people in a SHTF scenario.

The more common interests, the better, so plan to spend plenty of time talking over several shared meals, holidays, a BBQ, swimming, etc. Those experiences will form a foundation of memories and, hopefully, solid friendships with people you know you can trust.
